About Us

Larry has combined multiple disciplines to create unique and creative pieces.

Larry has been bowl turning for 4 years, under the tutelage of Elmer Adams, one of Hawaii’s most noted turners. Larry’s association with the Big Island Woodturners Club has influenced his technique and knowledge base.

Larry’s pieces are in a number of fine galleries and vary from small to medium bowls, Hawaiian game pieces and miscellaneous art pieces.

He uses a number of computer-based applications and hi-end photographic equipment to transform a film based image into a digital image. The output is then applied to a number of surfaces, one of which is the hi-end gloss ceramic or porcelain tiles, which is combined to create an exquisite tiled mural.

His education spans from Bard College, Northrop Institute, Microsoft University and numerous seminars and training classes. He has taught computer literacy and graphic design to teachers in Southern California and corporate marketing groups.

He states that much of his talent and creative abilities come from his talented parents.  Larry’s, mother a proficient artist/musician, and his father an engineer and singer who nurtured and provided him with a many opportunities, the proper environment including training, tutors and an education in the arts and sciences.

Larry works with a number of talented artists located in the Hawaiian Islands who allow him to bring their wonderful images to another level.

Please enjoy the beauty and splendor of these extremely talented artists who have captured the true Aloha feeling of the islands.
